Ubisoft has released these images of their flight sim Tom Clancy's HAWX, to be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC at the end of this year. Judging from the file names, some of them might be from the multiplayer mode of the game.

The graphic looks gorgeous.
And judging from screenshot 1 they got flares as countermeasures for missiles. That’s awesome. I still miss countermeasures in the Ace Combat series.
I hope they got chaff too, because flare is pointless if the missile is guided by radar e.g. AMRAAM.
Now they need good controls and a nice HUD.

Looks great but not as good as Ace Combat 6, it looks less realistic, the textures in AC6 are way more photo realistic and detailed.

Only a Brazuca to notice this, my friend! I was in Rio last week... didn't see a freaking ray of sunshine while I was there though... I can see my sister's apartment from the screenshots, just in front of the Aterro do Flamengo.

Looks pretty good visually. The enviroments look a little more life like then AC imo which is nice. AC landscapes were a bit of an eye sore...

i can see it now... getting chased by a few jets, missle locked on me about to hit me in 10 seconds... i fly down real low in the city inbetween a few hirise buildings to dogdge the missle
then when i feel all good thinking i missed the missle BAM right into a buildling...
but seirously, game looks fun, haven't played a Flight Sim since wayyyy back like 13 years ago... cant remember what it was called, was way poplular back then and i loved it

fuck graphics, fuck controlls I HOPE ITS FAST>.. im so sick of air fighter simulations feeling fu*king slow, if i hit the deck at 300ft pushing afterburner im supposed to feel like im f*cking moving
ac6 sucked at this as well as many of the previous ones i just want it done once properly!
and it can be done, i mean hell GRID makes racing feel fast again, why cant HAWX make a jet feel fast as well.

F22s and X35s...from all that I've seen/read, they're made out to be like the ultimate coward's fighter or something. "Fire and forget" from tens of miles away with super stealth. A real sim for these jets would be boring! This looks fun. Looking forward to it!
